(VOVWORLD) - A Japanese film festival will be held in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, from October 27 to December 21.

According to the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, the festival features the latest cinema releases in Japan, including “Not Quite Dead Yet”, “My Boyfriend in Orange”, and “Wedding High”.
The films cover different topics and genres, depicting the colorful life of Japanese people and helping Vietnamese and international friends gain a greater understanding of Japanese culture.
The screenings will be organized at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi, Galaxy Nguyen Kim Cinema in Hai Phong, Metiz Cinema in Da Nang, and Cinestar Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is a part of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations which began in 1973.
