(VOVworld) - A recent film screening and discussion in Paris gave attendees a deeper understanding of the current East Sea situation and Vietnam’s sovereignty over the East Sea. The event, called “Towards the East Sea” rallied support for Vietnam’s efforts to defend its maritime sovereignty.

Documentary films featured the East Sea’s geography and history and China’s recent disruption of the status quo.
Participants discussed reactions of regional countries and the viewpoints of the US, Japan, and the EU.
