(VOVWORLD) - Nearly 400 athletes from 61 pickleball clubs nationwide on Wednesday began competing at the first national-level pickleball tournament in Vietnam.

The 2024 National Pickleball Club Championship for the Jogarbola-Thai Binh Young Entrepreneurs-An Thai Cup will run until Sunday with both amateur and professional events
Athletes are competing in three age groups: under 35, 35-49, and 50 years old and above, based on the Asian Pickleball Federation’s official rule-book.
An opening ceremony for the tournament was held on Wednesday, at the Pickleball Court Complex in June 30 Park, Thai Binh city.
