The APF is committed to helping Vietnam develop the sport through training programs and workshops, Mr. Lai said, adding that the APF fully supports Vietnam’s efforts to develop the sport to its full potential.
Vietnam hopes to host regional tournaments in 2025 to gauge its own progress and assess the strength of foreign teams, said Le Thanh Ha, Deputy Head of High-Performance Sports Division 2, who attended the meeting. Although pickleball is still relatively new in Vietnam, it has long-term goals for the sport, Ha said.
