(VOVworld) – Five Vietnamese firms are among the top 500 performing retail companies in Asia-Pacific for 2014, according to the Singapore-based Retail Asia Publishing Pte Ltd and Euromonitor (Asia) Pte Ltd.

The five are: the Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives with sales in 2013 of 1.1 billion USD, Big C super markets with 534 million USD, Nguyen Kim Trading JSC with 490 million USD, Saigon Jewelry Co. Ltd. with 487 million USD, and Mobile World JSC with 395 million USD. Published for the 11th year in Retail Asia - a monthly trade magazine for the retail and supply chain industry in the region - the Retail Asia Pacific Top 500 is an index of the top 500 performing retail companies in 14 countries, Australia, China, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Taiwan (China), and Vietnam.
