Flag-raising ceremony held for Vietnam at Asian Para Games 2018
(VOVWORLD) - A flag raising ceremony was held on Friday at the Athletes’ Village in Jakarta, Indonesia, for the Vietnamese delegation participating in the Asian Para Games 2018.

Vu The Phiet, Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee said the tournament is a great opportunity for the Vietnamese athletes to practice and learn from international peers, while promoting the image of Vietnam in the international arena. The Vietnamese athletes have vowed to achieve the best possible results, especially in 3 events: track and field, swimming, and weightlifting.
