(VOVworld)- A flower street festival opened in Ham Nghi road, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, on Monday.

The flower decoration depicts Vietnamese people’s patriotic tradition and aspiration for peace, development and prosperity.

The festival has been held annually for 10 years. The same day, a book street festival opened in Ho Chi Minh City. More than 15,000 books featuring the history of Ho Chi Minh city, its people and tradition are introduced. There are also displays of e-books, children’s books and books for the vision-impaired. These two festivals will last until next Sunday.
