Foreign experts need to get a real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test and test negative before entering Vietnam. The testing must be done at a government-approved medical center or one recognized by the World Health Organization.
The committee also wants all foreign experts to come with international medical insurance, and asks companies and organizations inviting the experts to pay for expenses of COVID-19 treatment in case their guests test positive for the virus.
