Foreign leaders congratulate Vietnam’s Party chief on Tet

(VOVWORLD) -On the occasion of Vietnam's traditional Tet (Lunar New Year), leaders of countries, political parties and international organizations have sent congratulatory letters and cards to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

In his letter, Party General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith affirmed that he is proud to see the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam continues to be preserved and nurtured.
Thongloun Sisoulith expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people will continue to record many more and greater achievements.
Other leaders who sent New Year greeting to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong include President of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea Kim Jong-un, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of the United States Joe Biden, President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio, President of South Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, Chairman of the Korean National Assembly Kim Jin Pyo, and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
