Foreign media highlight Vietnam’s 13th National Party Congress
(VOVWORLD) - El Moudjahid (War Veteran), a leading newspaper in Algeria, posted two articles highlighting the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) which will begin next Monday.

Both articles called it an event of great historical significance, marking a new milestone in Vietnam’s development and the growth of the CPV.
The Tribune-Diplomatique newspaper said that by adroitly hosting international events and steadily pursuing international integration, Vietnam has elevated its position in the global arena. With the goal of becoming a high-income developed country by 2045, the draft documents of the Congress manifest the desire to build a prosperous, strong, democratic, and modern country.
Russia’s “Multi-polar World” magazine published an article highlighting the significance of the Congress. It said Vietnam has won great prestige in the international arena, validating the policies of the Party and the State and demonstrating Vietnam’s desire to be a friend and trusted partner of all countries and a responsible member of the international community.
Halonoviny.cz, an e-newspaper of the Czech Republic, posted an article praising Vietnam’s outstanding achievements over the years, particularly its success against COVID-19 and its rapid economic growth. The article said that as an ASEAN member, Vietnam is growing rapidly in influence and status.
Aseantoday.com hailed Vietnam as a bright spot and model for successfully containing the COVID-19 pandemic and for economic growth. The website said the 13th National Party Congress could bring about great changes for Vietnam.
