(VOVWORLD) - The fireworks teams from France and Italy have been selected to compete in the final night of the Da Nang International Firework Festival (DIFF) 2023, the organization board announced on Sunday.

This year's festival featured 8 teams from the UK, Poland, Canada, France, Finland, Australia, Italy, and Vietnam.
France and Italy have obtained the highest scores and will vie for a title on the final night of the festival themed “The World Without Distance” on July 8.
“The quality of this year’s competitors especially the Polish, French, Italian, and the UK teams have been taken up a notch. We’re impressed by their creative performances,” said Vi Kien Thanh, Head of the Department of Cinematography, and head of the fireworks festival’s jury board.
The champion will receive a prize of 20,000 USD, and runner-up 10,000 USD.
Two sub-prizes worth 3,000 USD each will also be presented to the most creative team and the team that receives the most votes from the audience.
