France likely to deploy army vehicles in Syria
(VOVWORLD) - A French army vehicle was visible in photos of the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor released by the US on Wednesday, raising questions about France’s role in Syria’s war.
The pictures were quickly pulled from the internet. The image contained a wheeled armored personnel carrier equipped with a turret, which resembles the French army’s Aravis infantry mobility vehicle. Such similar army vehicles are said to have appeared in Syria, especially in the insurgent strongholds backed by the US such as Manbij.
