(VOVworld) – French President Francois Hollande has called on Israel and Palestine to make a courageous choice to advance peace.

The French President was speaking during an international summit to seek ways for the resumption of Israel-Palestine peace talks in Paris. Speaking to representatives of some 25 countries, as well as the UN, the EU, and Arab League, Hollande said a solution had to involve the whole region. French peace initiative was presented in January since the failure of the US peace initiative in 2014. The Palestinian Administration welcomed the French initiative while Israelis rejected and said that peace could be reached through direct negotiations between Israel and Palestine.
