French government resigns in post-election formality
(VOVWORLD) - French President Francois Hollande said on Wednesday that his government had tendered its resignation, a traditional formality after the results of a presidential election are validated by the Constitutional Court.
In a letter to Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Hollande asked him to handle government functions until a new government is formed.
