French PM inaugurates International School Alexandre Yersin
(VOVWORLD) - French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe attended a ceremony to inaugurate France’s International School Alexandre Yersin in Long Bien district, Hanoi on Saturday. He told participants that the school is build in typical French architecture and its new location matches Hanoi’s development and students’ learning needs.
Established in 1982 in Ba Dinh district of Hanoi, Alexandre Yersin was one of the biggest international schools in the capital city. In 2016, construction of its new premise began on a 2.8ha of land in Long Bien district. International School Alexandre Yersin is part of a 492 school network directly managed by the French Education Agency Abroad. It has trained hundreds of thousands students from kindergarten to secondary education in 137 countries.
