Fund-raising campaign launched to conserve Con Dao sea turtles
(VOVWORLD) - A campaign called “Save The Ocean” was launched on Thursday on Con Dao island in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to raise public awareness and money to conserve the habitat of sea turtles.

As part of the campaign, co-organized by the suitcase and luggage supermarket MIA.vn and Con Dao National Park, hatchlings were released to the sea.
Between 1993 and 2022, more than 12,000 female turtles came to the beaches of Con Dao National Park to nest.
The Park has hatched and released more than 2.4 million baby turtles back into the ocean. It is the first place in Vietnam to successfully implement a sea turtle conservation program.
