G20 meeting: Concerns raised over global trade war
(VOVWORLD) - Global trade war concerns topped the agenda of the 2-day G20 finance ministers meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz told reporters on Wednesday.

Mr. Scholz said most ministers at the summit expressed their great concern following US President Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. Delegates underlined the importance of warning against protectionism.
Mr. Scholz said negotiations on the future of trade policy are taking place in Washington, attended by German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier, US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.
