G7 discusses measures for economic recovery after COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - G7 financial leaders on Friday met online to discuss measures to relieve economic consequences caused by COVID-19.

This has been the first meeting among G7 financial ministers and state bank governors since US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen took office.
Officials discussed macroeconomic policies to reduce negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and debt reduction for poor countries. Ms. Yellen urged G7 officials to implement financial aids and affirmed President Joe Biden’s commitment to multilateralism and climate change response.
