G7 Meeting of Finance Ministers: differences remain in public spending
(VOVworld) – On Saturday, Finance Ministers of the Group of 7 agreed to cooperate to deal challenges to the global economy but remained different in public spending.

At the meeting, Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors were committed to exerting effort to deal with tax evasion, and prevent financing terrorists. This is expected to top the agenda in the G7 Summit to be held in the central province of Mie, Japan. Tax evasion has become main focus after the “Panama Papers” was leaked. Regarding foreign exchange market, the leaders said the monetary instability may have negative impact on economies and agreed to lower the value of notes to increase competitiveness.
