G7 reaffirms commitment to exchange rate, pandemic response capacity
(VOVWORLD) -The Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the world's leading developed industries (G7) on Friday pledged to continue to closely monitor markets given recent volatility and reaffirms exchange rate commitments as elaborated in May, 2017.

On Friday, the G7 Health Ministers agreed on a treaty, which focuses on cooperation in surveillance and rapid response to improve the ability to cope with the risk of future pandemic outbreaks.
The G7 pledged to increase their mandatory contributions to the World Health Organization by 50% by 2030-2031 to strengthen its global leadership role, according to a communique.
