(VOVworld) - Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and Turkey met on Thursday to discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation and the best way to fight terrorism.

GCC stressed the importance of stability in Turkey, which very influential in the region, and reaffirmed their commitment to relations with Turkey. The two sides have worked hard to promote cooperation in trade, finance, and investment as well as culture, tourism, and sports exchanges.
