(VOVworld) – Germany and Austria agreed on Friday to limit the number of border crossing points for refugees to five in order to better deal with the refugee flow, according to the German Interior Ministry. The decision will immediately take effect.

The German Interior Ministry did not specifically announce five crossing points. German and Austrian authorities did not mention how many people will be allowed to cross Austrian and German borders.
Germany and Austria had to hold an emergency negotiation to reach the deal after Austria bringing large numbers of refugees to German border in recent days without any prior consultation.
