Gold Star Award 2018 granted to 200 businesses
(VOVWORLD) - 200 outstanding businesses were granted the Vietnam Gold Star Award 2018 at a ceremony held on Sunday in Hanoi.
 The ceremony takes place on December 23, 2018.

The event also marked the award’s 15th anniversary. This year’s award recorded changes in selecting and ranking businesses regarding their scales, efficiency, and responsibility.
"The selecting process was renovated and carried out in a more effective and transparent manner to ensure the award’s prestige. We even sent experts of different fields, especially in auditing, to assess each business," said Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of Vietnamese Association of Young Entrepreneurs.
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated awarded businesses, acknowledging their significant contributions to national achievements in 2018. 2018 saw a record number of 13,000 new businesses. This year young businesses have generated a revenue of more than 30 billion USD and created jobs for more than 3 million people.
