Mai, who is also Head of the Award’s Steering Committee, said the award ceremony will take place on February 1, to mark the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3.

Mai called for careful preparations so that the award ceremony will motivate the Party and people to strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks set for 2024.

Ngo Minh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Party Building Magazine, the award’s organizer, said this year's entries from press agencies are diverse in theme and genre, covering hot issues, outstanding events, and key tasks of the nation and the political system. 

The best of the 120 finalists selected by the preliminary council will receive 6 A prizes, 12 B prizes, 18 C prizes, 30 consolation prizes, and 6 thematic prizes.
