(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has praised Nam Dinh province for its achievements so far this year. Speaking at a meeting of Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Council, Ninh briefed on Vietnam’s socio-economic situation in the first half of this year and the government’s future plans. The Deputy Prime Minister said that despite numerous difficulties, Vietnam’s major socio-economic targets were being maintained, the macro-economy was ensured and inflation was under control. Ninh said that the government would continue to facilitate enterprises, restructure agriculture, expand markets for agricultural products, strengthen links between enterprises and farmers, and enhance scientific and technological application in agricultural production.
