During the two-day session which opened on Monday, the cabinet members agreed on positive changes taking place in the socio-economy, including the falling inflation rate and increasing export revenue of nearly 19% or 6.3 billion US dollars since early this year. Tax relief measures worth nearly 11 trillion dong have been made available to businesses. The Prime Minister is calling for more efforts to address business difficulties and promote growth: “We need a preferential interest rate to fuel small and medium businesses and agricultural development. This will boost aggregate demand. More money supply to capital construction and bumper crops will help exports and consumption.”The Prime Minister asked ministries and provinces to ensure proper social welfare policy, especially job creation schemes, education and healthcare and poverty reduction services.
