(VOVworld) – The Government has met over the past 2 days to discuss 8 major bills, including the amended draft Laws on Land and the Capital. Participants said that these amendments to the laws are necessary to correct any shortcomings and create uniform system of laws regarding land issues, which meet the requirements of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration. Debating the draft Law on the Capital, the majority of participants urged the introduction of administrative measures to limit the residential registration in Hanoi’s inner districts. The meeting also put forwards their views on draft laws concerning defence-security education, science and technology, employment and anti-corruption measures.
