(VOVWORLD) -Party and State value the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs and business community, who are the main production force of the Vietnamese economy and have played an essential role in national construction and development through historical periods of the Vietnamese Revolution, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Prime Minister celebrated Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13) and commended excellent Vietnamese entrepreneurs in 2022 at a ceremony organized by the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry (VCCI) in Hanoi on Wednesday.

He pledged favorable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs of all economic sectors to have equal access to resources and strongly encouraged the development of domestic private enterprises.

The Prime Minister said he hopes that the Vietnamese business community will continue to strongly demonstrate their pioneership in socio-economic development, proactively innovate production and business models, restructure enterprises towards green, digital, and circular economy.

“I believe that the Vietnamese entrepreneurs, with the traditional quality of Kindness - Talent - Wisdom - Trust, will overcome all challenges to build a growing business, making effective contributions to a stronger and more prosperous Vietnam for the happiness and well-being of its people,” he said. 

The Prime Minister said the business community needs to be well prepared with resources to receive and create breakthroughs for development, benefit employees, invest in science and technology application, develop high-quality human resources, and continue to show their social responsibility.

At the celebration, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of outstanding Vietnamese business people in 2022 to 60 entrepreneurs.
