(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said that the Government will continue to stick to its goal of stabilizing the macro-economy, controlling inflation, and ensuring major balances; political stability, social order and safety; and international integration.

Prime Minister Chinh on Sunday met with voters, who are business people and workers in Can Tho city, ahead of National Assembly session.
He stressed the need to overcome the consequences after the COVID-19 pandemic for rapid recovery and sustainable development, boost production and business, create jobs and livelihoods for people, and remove difficulties for businesses.
The government will focus on three growth drivers: consumption, export and investment, he said, adding other tasks of ensuring social security, including housing and cultural institutions for workers, and safeguarding independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It’s imperative to promote planning, including provincial planning and sectoral planning; strengthen international cooperation, including economic diplomacy; build a compact, effective and efficient apparatus with qualified and reputable staff; and step up prevention and combat of corruption and negativity.
At the meeting, voters of Can Tho city expressed their confidence in the the Party, National Assembly and Government and praised the Prime Minister for handling voters’ petitions. Voters put forth proposals on business, job creation, sustainable job maintenance, workers' incomes, housing and social security solutions.
Prime Minister Chinh asked agencies to continue to thoroughly synthesize, explain, absorb and handle proposals and recommendations in accordance with their competence.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister gave 200 gifts to trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Can Tho.
