Greater support given to fishery development in Truong Sa island district
(VOVWORLD) - Khanh Hoa province has allocated 42,000 USD from the local budget to the Khanh Hoa Fisheries Development Support Fund.

Scheduled to launch next Saturday, the Fund was established by the Government and assigned to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa to manage. The Committee will mobilize additional resources for fishery development.
Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said that the fund aims to support fishermen at sea in fishing, aquaculture, processing, and exporting through fisheries logistics service centers.
“It will mobilize investments in infrastructure such as wharfs, ports, and logistics service areas, focusing on infrastructure for Truong Sa island district and protecting national territorial sovereignty," according to Tuan.
