(VOVWORLD) - President of the Senate of the Republic of Haiti Youri Latortue will pay an official visit to Vietnam from Friday to next Thursday.
The visit is made at the invitation of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. Vietnam and Haiti set up diplomatic ties in 1997. The Haitian Government opened its embassy in Hanoi in 2013.
