Half time of National Assembly’s 9th plenary session to be held online
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly’s upcoming 9th plenary session will be held online for half of the total time duration due to the COVID-19, according to Assembly general secretary Nguyen Hanh Phuc.
The online meeting will last between 5-7 days with the Assembly delegations in 63 provinces and cities being connected with the National Assembly building in Hanoi.
Deputies will discuss a number of bills and decide important issues, including the European Union-Vietnam free trade agreement and solutions for easing the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic.
The second phase of the session will be held at the National Assembly building in Hanoi. Mr. Phuc said the 9th session is scheduled to open between May 20-25 and last between 12-17 days.
