At a conference in Hanoi, participants analyzed Hanoi’s PAPI performance from 2009 to 2018 focusing on transparancy, public administrative procedures, e-governance, corruption control in the state investment, and public service delivery.
Nguyen Dinh Hoa, Deputy Director of Hanoi’s Department of Home Affairs, said Hanoi considers the PAPI a tool to monitor the performance of its administration. The index has encouraged the leaders, officials, and state servants to improve the state management and public service delivery, he said.
Last year Hanoi’s PAPI reached 42.32 points.
