Hanoi records highest COVID cases for third consecutive day
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam recorded an additional 16,555 new cases of COVID-19, of which 33 were imported and 16,522 were recorded domestically in 60 provinces and cities, from 4pm on Tuesday to 4pm on Wednesday.

Hanoi recorded 1,646 cases, the highest daily caseload compare with other localities in the country for the third day in a row. Vietnam has to date reported a total of 1,588,335 cases of COVID-19.
On Wednesday, an additional 13,394 patients recovered, raising the total number of cured cases to 1,173,484. In the past 24 hours, there have been 210 more deaths from COVID-19.
As of Wednesday, more than 141 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in Vietnam. 97% of Vietnam’s adult population have got at least one dose of vaccine and 84.3% of the adult population have been fully vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine.
