During his working session with the US administration of Washington, D.C as part of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership, Tuan urged the two sides to carry out more external activities.
They intend to do this by intensifying contacts and delegation exchange, and strengthening investment, trade and promotion of tourism activities. With cross-cultural and people-to-people exchanges such as organizing the art program “Hanoi Days” in Washington DC, this can only lead to a successful partnership.
Kimberly Bassett, Secretary of State of the US District of Columbia (DC) proposed continuing to ramp up cooperation between the two capitals, and to accelerate negotiations to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the coming time.
The Washington DC administration will create all conditions for Hanoi businesses to carry out promotion of trade, import and export activities and creation of incentives for US businesses to invest in Hanoi.
