(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi seeks to complete 2nd COVID-19 vaccine doses for eligible citizens by November, according to municipal Vice Chairman Duong Duc Tuan.
Mr. Tuan told an online meeting on Sunday that Hanoi will gradually ease restrictions but will continue to ensure health safety while maintaining economic growth.
So far, Hanoi has vaccinated more than 5.7 million people.
The capital has recorded more than 4,000 COVID-19 cases since the fourth coronavirus wave hit Vietnam in late April.
It has undergone a series of social distancing orders, with the latest expected to end after Tuesday.
