(VOVWORLD) - The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai (traditional long dress) Festival 2023 will start next Friday at the pedestrian space beside Hoan Kiem Lake.

Organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Hanoi Women's Union, the 3-day Festival will attract many famous ao dai designers and brands.
The highlight will be the opening night, themed "Discovering the beauty of Hanoi", involving hundreds of artists and actors.
Nguyen Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said the ao dai is widely worn, especially in the tourism sector. Airlines, accommodation providers, and tourism destinations frequently use images of the ao dai.
“We organize the Tourism Ao Dai Festival to attract tourists to Hanoi in the fall, the capital’s most beautiful season. We’re trying to exceed this year’s target of receiving 23 million visitors –19 million domestic visitors and 4 million foreign visitors,” said Minh
