Hanoi wins three categories at World Travel Awards 2023
(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi won three categories of the 2023 World Travel Awards (WTA) at the Asia & Oceania gala ceremony on Wednesday in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hanoi was named Asia’s Leading City Destination, Asia's Leading City Break Destination, and Asia's Leading City Tourist Board.
This is the first year the municipal Department of Tourism has been nominated for the Asia's Leading City Tourist Board award.
These are important categories within the WTA Awards, which evaluates the appeal of activities like night tourism and culinary tourism.
The WTA also honored Vietnam in the “Airline” category, giving awards to Vietnam's national flag carrier and Vietravel Airlines. The “Leading Boutique Resort 2023” award was given to An Lam Retreats Saigon River, while Meliá Ho Tram won in the “Leading Beach Resort 2023” category, and Cuc Phuong National Park won “Asia's Leading National Park” category.
