Hanoi’s hosting of DPRK-USA summit impresses foreigners
(VOVWORLD) - Foreign tourists have shared positive opinions about Vietnam’s hosting of the second DPRK-USA summit in Hanoi.
Thomas Jeffson from Australia said: "Vietnam is a beautiful country and I really like it. It’s a good neutral place for everybody to meet, especially for the American President to come here to talk about peace with other nations. I think that’s amazing."
Hanoi has become a destination for talks on peace and measures to resolve global issues. Andrew Garfiel from Switzerland said: "It’s encouraging that people know that these leaders are welcomed in Hanoi. Vietnam has changed a lot and it’s only right that you’re proud of your country for hosting this important event."
John Wick from the US said: "There’s a shared history between the two countries, which is good. I think Hanoi’s a good place to host the summit."
Still other tourists expressed the hope that the summit scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will be successful.
