(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) will join hands with US-based Ansys, Inc. to develop a talent pool for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.

Under an agreement signed on Thursday, engineering simulation software provider Ansys will provide local universities specializing in sci-tech with educational software and related training programs through its Innovation Space.
Nguyen Anh Thi, head of SHTP’s management board, said the program will help sci-tech students access the latest engineering simulation technology and methodologies while gaining practical experience, ensuring their success in the high-tech field.
It will also help SHTP strengthen the operational capacity of its Electronics and Semiconductor Center, contributing to the development of HCM city’s semiconductor industry and Vietnam’s economy, said Thi.
