Visiting dignitaries of Ho Chi Minh City’s Committee for Catholic Solidarity, Archbishop Paul Bui Van Doc who is president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam, Vice Permanent Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Vo Van Thuong expressed his wish that the City’s parishioners will continue to also be good citizens.
Thuong called on Christians to focus on Ho Chi Minh City’s economic development.
At a meeting with the Vietnam Protestant Church (the south) Thuong wished followers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and praised their humanitarian activities over the past year.
