Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the event features 700 booths of enterprises from 40 Vietnamese localities and 15 countries and territories, like Japan, the Netherlands, India, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. The fairs will run until Saturday.
The "One Commune One Product" program, which originated from Japan’s Oita village more than 30 years ago, was introduced into Vietnam in 2006 and has been strongly implemented since 2013. It focuses on developing one strong agricultural or non-agricultural product or service in each locality.
