(VOVworld) – A dialogue on “Construction and Development of new rural areas in Ho Chi Minh City” opened today. The municipal authorities will focus on completing its planning for rural vocational training and expand effective agricultural models in the immediate future.

Construction of new rural areas requires efforts from all social strata

The city aims to basically complete its construction of new rural areas in the city’s 58 communes. Deputy chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, Le Minh Tri says: "A huge workload and many challenges await us ahead. It’s necessary for us to convey the significance of this program to our entire political system for better implementation of the program. I suggest the city approve projects of constructing new rural areas of 22 communes within this month, and another 30 communes in the 3^rd quarter of this year for a synchronous implementation of this program. We need to get the local people involved in this process to make the program a success."
