(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA EXPO) 2023, the biggest trade event in the country’s wood and furniture industry, is set to open on March 8 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year will see 612 domestic and foreign enterprises open 2,410 booths in an area stretching for 40,000 sq.m, an increase of three times compared to the 2022 edition.
The annual event will offer visitors a diverse range of woodwork products to view, such as furniture, handicrafts, interior décor, and gifts.
Most notably, there are a total of 140 booths set to be operated by foreign enterprises from 17 countries and territories globally, including China, Germany, Denmark, Indonesia, India, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
So far the organizer has confirmed the registration of over 3,000 local and international visitors for the event.
Organized by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade, as well as the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA) and Alliance Handicraft & Wooden Fine Art Corporation, the function at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre will run until March 11.
