(VOVworld) – People who rendered great services to the nation in Ho Chi Minh City are to enjoy better policies in the next 2 years, said President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Nguyen Thien Nhan, at a meeting with the municipal authorities on Tuesday. These people, including heroic Vietnamese mothers will be provided with higher monthly allowances while a program has been set up to repair charitable houses in the city.
The same day, a delegation led by Deputy President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vu Trong Kim, visited and presented gifts to several policy beneficiaries in Quang Ngai province.
