HCMC calls for more Dutch support in flood control

At Friday’s session in HCMC with Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam, Elizabeth Akkerman, Binh added he hopes the cooperation will help Thu Duc city control flooding efficiently and response to climate change.
Ambassador Akkerman said Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City in particular remain a top destination for Dutch businesses.
The Netherlands will be ready to support Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City by building smart cities, preventing floods, and transferring construction technology to turn Thu Duc into one of the most modern cities in the region to connect to the world conveniently by sea, road and air.
