Health Ministry increases medical forces for localities to fight COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long yesterday chaired an online meeting with the leaders of provinces which have recorded an increasing number of COVID-19 infections and deaths recently, including Can Tho city, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and An Giang province.

Minister Long requested the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment to send more human resources to the provinces and ensure close coordination in epidemic prevention and control.
Today Bach Mai Hospital will send a delegation of medical staff to add An Giang province, Viet Duc Hospital to support Ba Ria - Vung Tau; Hospital E to support Tay Ninh, Central Hospital of Endocrinology to support Soc Trang province.
The Minister of Health also directed central hospitals to send experienced resuscitators to support treatment and focus on training for local medical staff.
