(VOVworld) – Israel’s artillery shells on the Gaza strip on Sunday killed at least 40 Palestinians, injured 400, and forced thousands of Palestinians to evacuate.

Shells from Israel towards the Gaza strip have caused heavy casualties for the Palestinians.

The death toll keeps rising as many injured people could not be transported to hospitals as ambulances could not reach the scene. At least 390 Palestinians were killed and more than 3,000 others injured, mostly civilians, since Israel launched an offensive in the Gaza strip 12 days ago.
