Soldiers on Hon Doc islet

(VOVworld)- The High Command of Military Zone 5 paid a Tet visit to soldiers and locals on Hon Doc islet, Tien Hai commune, Kien Giang province. This was last leg of the delegation’s week-long tour of the southwestern islands of Vietnam. Huynh Van Nhi is President of Binh Duong Province’s Fatherland Front Committee: “We have been very impressed with the soldiers we met during our tour. We brought them gifts and the good wishes of people from the mainland as encouragement for them to fulfill their task of defending national sovereignty”.

Earlier, the delegation visited soldiers and locals on Tho Chu and Nam Du island of Kien Giang province and Hon Khoai and the Hon Chuoi islands of Ca Mau province.
