(VOVworld) - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan has called for more Japanese investment in Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

Quan made the statement at a reception on Friday for the visiting director of the International Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Tanaka Kazunori

Quan expressed his hope that as the head of the committee, Tanaka would continue to boost exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

Tanaka said he hoped Japan and Vietnam would enhance their flourishing relations in politics and economics.
